First of all,make sure that it's not a joke.If its true,and you two are indeed from different countries,what he's saying is true.You'll have to stop thinking about him then.There's nothing else to do.Disclose all this to a very close person(friend,relative) and he/she will help you out.It's true that it's very difficult for both of you for your relationship to work out.Don't worry,time heals all.May be its for your own good? someday,surely you will get to love a person who will never betray you and understand & respect you.Just don't blindly jump into a relationship the next time with someone,and don't stay alone,after you broke-up.Stay with friends and family & if that's not possible,keep in touch with them using some means of communication like telephone,internet.May your live a peaceful life hereafter.
