I have a voice for my cat is this normal?

i made up a voice for my cat.. like a muppet voice kind of.. i say things in her voice about things i think she would say and i talk back to her.. like for example " i say you wanna go out side "she says yaaa!! okkk!! or she says " i like the move twilight! meowmee! is this normal? do you have a voice for your cat or dog?
